LONGVIEW, Texas — Tatum Music in Longview celebrated their 75th anniversary with a grand reopening of their business on Saturday.
The original store was forced to shut down in 2021 following a fire that caused major damages to the building.
Owner Doice Grant was excited to welcome customers back into his shop and reminisce on his humble beginnings.
"I grew up in this business, I actually was the janitor back when I started when I was eleven years old," Grant said.
With over seven decades of experience, the company now sells and maintains band instruments for over 100 school districts across East Texas.
