NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Police say they have found the vehicle and driver that struck a 9-year-old child last week in Nacogdoches.
On May 16 around 7:30 a.m., police officers responded to a pedestrian crash that occurred in the 2100 block of Looneyville St. The child had multiple fractures and was taken to the hospital by EMS.
The vehicle fled the scene at the time. Investigators now believe they have found the vehicle and driver of the vehicle. But no arrest has been made at this time.
"Investigators are continuing their investigation into the crash. As further information becomes available, it will be released," police said.
