TYLER, Texas — A fire at Green Acres Shopping Village in Tyler on Friday morning has impacted multiple businesses at the location, according to the Tyler Deputy Fire Department.
At around 6:30 a.m., two people in nearby businesses noticed a fire at MotoPhoto Tyler and called 911. Randy Lee, the Tyler deputy fire marshal, said the fire started in the back of a refrigerator and spread to three other businesses. He added that four total businesses suffered damage from the fire, with MotoPhoto Tyler experiencing the most severe damage.
Firefighters contained the fire just before 11 a.m. During the incident, one firefighter was taken to the hospital due to heat exhaustion and dehydration and later released, Lee said.
The fire marshal suspects MotoPhoto Tyler may be a total loss.
