TYLER, Texas — East Texas schools are out for Spring Break. CSB19 has a list of activities to keep you children active and learning on their week off from school.

Tyler

Longview

  • Spring Break at Longview Public Library, many events held between March 13-18 for all ages!
    • March 13: Super Smash Bros. Tournament (Ages 8-18) 2:30-5:30 p.m. at library
    • March 14: Family Movie Day/Night (10:30 a.m.-LEGO Star Wars) (6 p.m.- TBA) at Longview Convention Complex- Maude Cobb
    • March 15: Brett Roberts Amazing Bubble Show 2 p.m. at Lear Park
    • March 16: Family BINGO 2-3:30 p.m. at Broughton Branch Library/ Broughton Recreation Center
    • March 17: Library After Dark- Teen Night (Ages 13-18) 6 pm.-12 a.m. at library
    • March 18: LEGO-A-THON 10 a.m.- 5p.m.
  • Longview Martial Arts Spring Break Camp, March 13-17, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (early drop off- 7:30 a.m. & late pick up 6 p.m.)
  • Kite Festival: March 15, noon- 6 p.m. at Lear Soccer Fields
  • REO Starplex Event Center & Roller Rink: March 13-19, times vary 
  • Double I Ranch Riding Lessons (Ages 8-18): March 14-16, 12- 4p.m.

Kilgore

  • Spring Break at Kilgore Public Library, many events held between March 13-18 for all ages! Spring into Reading Challenge from March 13-19.
    • March 14: Green Eggs and Ham Caper (Ages 5-12), 1:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
    • March 15: Lego Club, 4-5 p.m.
    • March 17: Cat in the Hat Story Time featuring Dean Kinney, 2:30- 3 p.m.

Marshall

Spring Break at Marshall Public Library, many events held between March 13-16 for all ages! 

  • March 13: Read, Draw, Snack, 10:30 a.m.
  • March 14: Leprechaun Break-In Bags, 10:30 a.m., 4 p.m.
  • March 14: T(w)een Tuesday: Pi Day, 10:30 a.m.
  • March 15: Leprechaun Trap Challenge, 10:30 a.m.
