LONGVIEW, Texas — Go. Go and spread the good news.
That's the theme of a work of love that Emma and Steve Ball of Longview have created in their carport for the Christmas season. They did something similar but smaller for the first time in 2021 at their home at 804 E. Young St.: a small, detailed diorama that depicts not just the birth of Christ but his life story.
Such displays are a tradition in Honduras, where Emma is from, and when a friend of hers was visiting from there, they created that first display. Then, the Balls invited people to come, sit and listen to Steve talk about the story the display told.
