SPCA of Texas offering $5k for information on animal cruelty case

On June 5, police was called to a car wash located at 130 Cedar St, where ten puppies were left in a wire crate.

VAN, Texas — The SPCA of Texas, is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individual(s) who abandoning ten newborn puppies at a car wash in Van.

On June 5, police was called to a car wash located at 130 Cedar St, where ten puppies were left in a wire crate.

“Abandoning animals can be so dangerous, especially in the extreme weather that we’ve been experiencing recently," SPCA of Texas Chief Investigator, ACI Unit Courtney Burns, said. "Thankfully these puppies were discovered quickly, and we were able to get them some help before it was too late."

These puppies were taken to the Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center where they received care.
