SMITH COUNTY, Texas — A Smith County-area home was destroyed after a vehicle fire led to a house fire on Sunday.
According to Smith County Emergency Services District 2, officials received a call regarding a vehicle fire. Before crews arrived on scene, the fire had spread to the nearby house.
ESD 2 says the homeowner’s dog was found safe by the crew during the initial search.
The house was destroyed in the fire. However, thankfully, no injuries were reported.
