Smith County Animal Shelter hosting free adoption event this Saturday

The Smith County Animal Shelter will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday for the "A Who-Ville Grinchmas" event.

TYLER, Texas — The Smith County Animal Shelter is transforming its facility to host their "A Who-Ville Grinchmas" free adoption event this Saturday.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering free dog adoptions and a special visit with the Grinch.

According to the press release, "as of Wednesday, December 13, there were 59 dogs and 25 puppies in the shelter who needs homes."

Continuing the Grinch theme, the shelter is reducing their adoption fees to $12 for the "$12 Strays of Grinchmas" event happening throughout the month of December.

Each dog that gets adopted will receive a voucher to pay for additional spay and neuter fees.
