SMITH COUNTY, Texas — The Smith County Animal Shelter will be offering free pet adoptions on Valentine's Day in an effort to clear the shelter.
The event is scheduled to happen on Wednesday, Feb. 14 throughout the entire day, according to the animal shelter.
The free adoption is set to come with a voucher to the SNIPPET clinic and provide a microchip for the pet.
