ARLINGTON, Texas — Video posted to social media showed riders falling into water while exiting a raft that got stuck on a ride at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.
All riders managed to get to safety and no injuries were reported, park officials told WFAA.
The incident happened on the Roaring Rapids ride.
In the video, which was posted Tuesday, two people fell into the water while exiting the raft to a dock, and a third rider, a child, jumped into the water while getting off the raft. All three were helped out by others nearby.
When reached by email in regards to the video, Six Flags officials told WFAA that "one of the rafts at Roaring Rapids became stuck" and "guests were told to remain seated in the raft while the ride was restarted."
"All guest safely exited the ride and there were no injuries. The video shows that guests made it safely out of the water," a Six Flags spokesperson told WFAA in email.
In 1999, a 28-year-old Arkansas woman drowned and 10 other passengers were injured when a raft-like boat on the Roaring Rapids ride at Six Flags overturned in two-to-three feet of water about 200 feet from the end of the ride.
