SFA to hold active shooter training June 18-21

SFA said activities and enhanced police presence on campus are for training and that there is not an immediate threat.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin State University will hold active shooter training on campus June 18 through June 21. 

The university said in a Facebook post that the Nacogdoches Police Department  and school personnel will participate in active shooter training at an unspecified building on campus. 

SFA said activities and enhanced police presence on campus are for training and that there is not an immediate threat.
