HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — The Henderson County Sheriff's Office is searching for a possible drowning victim.
According to the HCSO, two people were in a canoe on a private lake near Eustace when the canoe overturned. One person was able to get to shore, but the other one was not.
Sheriff Botie Hillhouse says neither person had permission to be on the private property. Officials were notified of the incident around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Game Wardens are searching the area with a dive team.
