San Augustine County Sheriff's Office searching for missing K-9 dog

He is a patrol dog with records of criminal apprehension; therefore, people should not engage with Army. They should only notify law enforcement of his whereabouts.

SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTY, Texas — The San Augustine County Sheriff's Office is searching for a K-9 dog that went missing while going outside for a bathroom break Wednesday. 

According to the sheriff's office, K-9 Army was let out for a bathroom break before loading up for duty, but he then went into a wooded area near his residence on Highway 87 near Crockett Lane. Army has been seen yet. 

Anyone who sees him is asked to call the San Augustine County Sheriffs Office at 936-275-2424.
