LUFKIN, Texas — The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Officer's Association in conjunction with the Lufkin Police Department are mourning the loss of their retired Sergeant's death on Thursday.
According to TABCOA, Sergeant Charlie Graham, 63, of Lufkin passed away on Thursday, Feb. 29, after battling cancer.
Graham served the Lufkin Police Department for 30 years proceeding to work almost 10 years with the TABCOA located out of the Arlington Regional Office.
"Please take a moment to remember the life of Sgt. Graham and send positive thoughts to his family. We will deeply miss you, Sgt. Graham. Rest easy. We’ll take it from here," TABCOA said in a statement.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin.
