TYLER, Texas — Four pickup trucks drove up to the East Texas Crisis Center Thursday afternoon with cargo beds full of Christmas gifts. The generosity is all thanks to the efforts of the Raceway Car Club in hopes many of the women and children in need of goodwill during the holiday season will have a reason to smile at Christmas.
“The reason why we're here is to make sure that the women and children have something open on Christmas Day,” said Raceway Car Club president Frank Cervera.
Raceway Car Club has collaborated with East Texas Crisis Center with many fundraisers, including a car show, for at least four years.
