JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Two juveniles have now been charged with murder in connection with the death of a 29-year-old Jacksonville woman.
The Jacksonville Police Department says the shooting occurred in the 400 block of Gillespie Ave., around 2:50 a.m. Aug. 17. When officials arrived on scene, they found Clara Deane Wilson, 29. of Jacksonville, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
In updates released Thursday, a spokesperson for the Jacksonville Police Department said two children have been charged with murder. Neither of the children's names have been released at this time because they are under 18.
Jacksonville investigators, the Texas Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies are continuing to investigate the murder.
