TYLER, Texas — As winter nears, Tyler nonprofit PATH is seeking donations for its annual Coats for Kids fundraiser to help keep kids warm this season.
Heating costs and winter wardrobes can be difficult for families who are living from paycheck to paycheck. Each year, Coats for Kids helps hundreds of families by giving their children a warm coat to protect them during the winter months, according to PATH's website.
The last day to register to receive coats is Tuesday, Oct. 31 and the last day to donate is Friday, Nov. 6.
People can help out donating money toward coats by clicking here. The PATH website states one coat donation is worth $35. People can also make purchases toward the fundraiser using PATH's Amazon wish list.
PATH will distribute the coats on Nov. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, located at 230 W. Rusk in Tyler, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
