PANOLA COUNTY, Texas — Twelve of the 18 positive cases in Panola County are from Carthage, with one from DeBerry and the other five living in the county but outside cities.

That's according to Judge LeeAnn Jones, who has released more information on Panola County's confirmed COVID-19 cases and is asking all residents to obey the county's shelter in place order.

Jones extended her order until April 30 so that it matches Gov. Greg Abbott's order.
