TYLER, Texas — After investigation fire at a Tyler church Monday morning, fire investigators concluded the fire was unintentional and the church sustained major damage.
Investigators said the fire began in the northeast corner of the building around several electrical appliances that were plugged into an electrical power strip.
Most of the damage came from the room where the fire began, according to the investigators.
According to the Tyler Police Department, officials responded to a fire at Freedom Fellowship AG Church on SSE Loop 323 at around 10: a.m.
The Tyler Fire Department, UT Health EMS and TPD responded to the scene and learned the fire began in one corner of the building. Officials were able to control the fire quickly with no injuries reported.
