MARSHALL, Texas — City officials in Marshall say there is no water contamination as crews work to resolve lingering discoloration and pressure issues.
According to the city of Marshall, the inclement weather during Monday through Wednesday led to issues to the water treatment plant's 70-year-old infrastructure.
The low pressure is because of the reduced pumping to recover from a sediment issue. The water has been fully treated and disinfected, and there is no contamination issue, the city of Marshall said.
Crews believe the lack of water pressure and water discoloration should be resolved soon.
