LONGVIEW, Texas — Officials are investigating after they believe a vacant house in Longview was intentionally set on fire Friday night.
According to the Longview Fire Department, crews responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Clover Lane around 9:15 p.m. Friday. They found the structure fully involved with flames coming from all windows.
The fire did about $15,000 in damage. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames with no reported injuries, the fire department said.
Now, the fire is under investigation as firefighters believe it could've been intentionally set and the property owner said people were trespassing and staying in the vacant structure.
