MINEOLA, Texas — The National Weather Service is deploying storm damage survey teams to the East Texas area on Thursday.
According to the NWS, one team will begin their survey in Mineola before traveling to DeKalb.
The other will assess damage in the areas of Mabank, Kaufman County, Canton and Van Zandt County.
Results of the surveys are expected to be released Thursday afternoon.
