'The Notorious P.I.G ' settles in to life at Heaven's Gate Farm

Theresa Siess, the owner and operator of Heaven's Gate Farm, says he had no issue adjusting to his new routine.

TYLER, Texas — A pig who went viral for roaming the streets of Tyler in 2022 is now living his best life at an East Texas farm.

Piggie Smalls, also known as the Notorious P.I.G., became famous in Tyler after he was sighted wandering the streets of the city by residents. He soon became a local celebrity, garnering over 600 fans on Facebook with hundreds of sightings and selfies from his fans.

Now, this little piggy is enjoying life at Heaven's Gate Farm. Theresa Siess, owner and operator of Heaven's Gate Farm, said he had no issue adjusting to his new routine.

"He spent probably four to six months in a stall letting him get acclimated with me, since I am the momma that feeds him," Siess said. "Then I put him outside with the boys and he adjusted very, very rapidly. I think the other pigs were nice to him coming in because he was so young."

Piggie Smalls is estimated to be about 2 years old. He was picked up by Jeff Lobaugh, known by many as the Texas Hogfather, who helped him find his new forever home.
