LIVINGSTON, Texas — The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas announced Monday plans for a new casino and resort on their reservation in Livingston.
"We are incredibly excited to embark on this new chapter," Tribal Council Chairman Ricky Sylestine said.
According to the press release, the new resort may offer a variety of amenities including, a casino floor, hotel, dining and entertainment. FFKR Architects, a firm out of Utah, has been chosen to design the space.
"This new casino resort will not only provide significant economic benefits for those living and working in the region, but it will also become a vibrant destination for visitors," Sylestine said.
The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas said it will release news related to the resort and any other developments in the coming months.
