Nephew of missing Crockett woman being investigated for capital murder

According to police, investigators are working to bring Paul's body home to her family for proper burial.

CROCKETT, Texas — **EDITOR'S NOTE: An earlier version of this story stated David Densn was charged with capital murder. He has not been charged yet, but is being investigated.

The Crockett Police Department ruled Monday that Faye Lynn Paul, an elderly woman who was reported missing last month, is dead.

According to police, investigators are working to bring Paul's body home to her family for proper burial. Police urge residents in the area to be aware of the continued search, particularly in the areas of the Neches River, Trinity Rover and Houston County Lake. 

So far, the investigation has turned up multiple witnesses, physical evidence and video evidence. If you see anything suspicious, you are urged to report it to authorities.

David Denson, Paul's nephew, is being investigated for capital murder. He was captured on Feb. 29 in Alamosa, CO. He also faces parole violations.
