TYLER, Texas — Multiple traffic signals in the city of Tyler are without power following storms Wednesday morning.
The city is asking people to avoid all non-essential driving. If they have to drive, they should use extreme caution when traveling and treat a "dark" traffic signal like a four-way stop. Each vehicle should come to a complete stop and take its turn going through the intersection.
Because of the unstable power grid, some intersections are coming online and then going offline, the city of Tyler said.
