MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas — The Mount Pleasant Animal Care and Adoption center will host a free adoption event next week.
On Aug. 3, the center will be waiving the cost of adoptions between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. All dog adoptions will come with a voucher for a lower cost for their first rabies vaccination, sterilization, microchip, DHPP vaccine and de-wormer. All cat adoptions will come with a similar voucher for their first rabies vaccination, sterilization and microchip.
