PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas — One motorcyclist was injured following a wreck near Payne Springs on Saturday.
Payne Springs Fire Rescue responded to a wreck on Highway 198 in the area of Whispering Oaks Trail around 5:13 p.m. on Saturday.
When crews arrived on scene they discovered a black sedan collided with a motorcycle causing significant injuries to the motorist.
The injured driver was air lifted to Tyler and is expected to survive.
The drivers of the black sedan refused treatment and is unknown if they sustained injuries.
Crews were able to reopen Highway 198 after the road was cleared from the wreck.
