PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas — A man has been hospitalized following injuries sustained while diving from a boat in Cedar Creek Lake.
Payne Springs Fire Rescue said they received a call about a boating accident in the Southwood Shores subdivision around 5:32 p.m. Upon arrival, responders determined the call was made about injuries to a man who was diving into the lake.
The man was transported to a trauma center in Gun Barrel City. His name has not been released.
PSFR reminded residents to enter the water feet first at all times, and that they respond to calls every year concerning serious or fatal injuries from diving off of boat docks into Cedar Creek Lake.
