CHANDLER, Texas — Five people were injured following a major multi-vehicle crash on the Lake Palestine Bridge near Chandler.
According to the Chandler Volunteer Fire Department, around 8:20 a.m., officials were called to the scene of a six-vehicle crash on FM 315 S. on the Lake Palestine Bridge.
Four people were taken to the hospital by ambulance and one was flown due to their injuries.
The bridge was closed for cleanup, but has since reopened.
