SMITH COUNTY, Texas — Officials say one person is dead following a major crash involving an 18-wheeler and a motorcycle, just south of Tyler.
According to CBS19 crews on scene, the crash occurred on Highway 155 S., in the area of Toll 49. Northbound traffic is backed up for miles, according to witnesses.
The identity of the deceased has not been released.
