LUFKIN, Texas — The Lufkin Police Department is investigating after two people were found dead in an apartment Tuesday morning.
According to the Lufkin police, officers found Samantha James Johnson, 36, and Jacob Oyoo, 42, dead at Sunrise Landing, located on on East Denman Avenue, around 10:30 a.m. Johnson and Oyoo were tenants of the apartment.
Police said autopsies are being conducted and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are exploring all possibilities as to what happened.
