PANOLA COUNTY, Texas — A Lufkin man is dead after his vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree Saturday morning in Panola County.
Zackery S. Faris, 21, was traveling northeast on US Highway 79 North, over three miles south of DeBerry. Faris drove off the roadway to the west and collided with a tree, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS said the investigation is ongoing.
