Loved ones hold candlelight vigil for missing 29-year-old Tyler man

Harley Morris' family said they've been searching every day since he disappeared and there's still no sign of him.

TYLER, Texas — Dozens of family and friends came together for a candlelight vigil at the Glass Recreation Center in Tyler for a 29-year-old man who was last seen 10 days ago.

Harley Warren Morris, of Tyler, was last seen on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 3 a.m. walking alone north in the 2100 block of N Grand Ave. after leaving the 50 Grand Club.  He is 6’ 3" and weighs 160 pounds. He has blond hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black jacket with gray sleeves, black pants and a black Prime 102 baseball style hat.

His family said they've been searching every day since he disappeared and there's still no sign of him.

Family, friends and even strangers gathered for the candlelight vigil. Loved ones are praying for a safe return.

The family chose the Glass Recreation Center as the venue to meet up because community tips indicated Harley was last seen near that neighborhood on the northside of Tyler.

They have flyers and signage with his name and face to spread awareness of his disappearance.

There's a Facebook group titled "Help Find Harley Morris" with over 500 members all hoping for a safe arrival.

In an update shared Wednesday, police said they're still actively searching for Harley Morris. The police department is now asking residents and businesses north of Gentry Parkway to North Loop 323 to check any cameras or doorbell cameras between 3 to 7 a.m. Jan. 21.

Police asked people to check around their homes and businesses for items Harley Morris was wearing: a Prime 102 cap, black shoes, and a black/grey hoodie like the one’s attached to this release.

His father Bill Morris said they will meet up at 11 a.m. Wednesday outside the Glass Recreation Center to search a new area they haven't searched yet. They need as many people as they can to come out and look.

Anyone with information should contact the Tyler Police Department at (903) 531-1000 or Crimestoppers at (903) 597-2833. Crimestoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the location of Harley Morris.
