Usually elves are dressed in striped tights, pointy slippers and sharp hats. On Friday, they were disguised in a different kind of uniform.
The Longview SWAT team repelled from the roof of the hospital to give patients some holiday cheer.

"Just the joyous laughter of the children whenever they see Santa Clause," Lt. Shane McCarter said. "And they're jumping up and down just like they would on Christmas morning."
Best friends, Mariah and Kaylee, are both in the hospital. However, they are still children who enjoy laughter and having a fun time.
They also love presents.
"I got my little pony, and she got a glow up board," Mariah said.
"We just want to share the Christmas spirit with them knowing that these children are going to wind up being in the hospital potentially during the Christmas season," McCarter added.
