LONGVIEW, Texas — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed a bank at gunpoint in Longview on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Longview Police Department, officers responded to the Southside Bank located at 2001 Judson Rd. for reports for a bank robbery.
When officials arrived on scene, witnesses said the suspect robbed the bank at gunpoint and demanded money, according to the press release.
Longview police said the suspect then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle but was recovered shortly after.
The suspect is described as a White man wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark jeans and black shoes.
According to officials, the suspect did not injure anyone and is unknown how much money was stolen from the bank.
Longview police is working in accordance with the FBI to investigate this robbery.
