DALLAS — A Longview man was injured following an overnight crash in Dallas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning, troopers responded to a crash at the intersection of the President George Bush Turnpike near Belt Line Rd.
The preliminary investigation indicates a car, driven by Jasmine Lewis 19, of Arlington, was involved in a single-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes and became disabled. DPS says Lewis got out of the car and was struck by an SUV, driven by Kiara Frazier, 28, of Grand Prairie. Frazier's SUV also hit the Lewis' vehicle.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Lewis' car, identified as King Martin, 18, of Grand Prairie, sustained minor injuries.
Frazier and a passenger, identified as Devvyn Eddington, 33, of Longview, were taken to a Las Colinas hospital with minor injuries.
