Longview man accused of stealing 3 all-terrain-vehicles worth over $93,000 arrested in Rusk County

Deputies found the vehicles hidden behind an outbuilding on a gated property on Rusk County Road 2161.

RUSK COUNTY, Texas — A Longview man has been charged with theft after Rusk County deputies recently recovered three stolen ATVs on his property. 

Willie Calvin Stoker II, 41, of Longview, is charged with three counts of theft and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon. His bonds were set at $53,500. 

On July 23, the Rusk County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant that led to them finding three ATVs that were reported stolen. Deputies found the vehicles hidden behind an outbuilding on a gated property on Rusk County Road 2161. An investigation led deputies to this property that is under the control of Stoker, according to the sheriff's office. 

RCSO identified the ATVs as:

  • A 2024 Polaris Ranger NorthStar Edition (valued at $39,000 and reported stolen from the Tatum area in July 2024)
  • A 2024 Polaris Razor (valued at $35, 900 and reported stolen from the Henderson area in June 2024)
  • A 2016 Kubota RTV (valued at $18,800 and reported stolen from the Henderson area in June 2022)

The values of the ATVs totaled $93,700. Stoker was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon because according to the RCSO, deputies found a short barrel firearm. 

The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated, the Rusk County Sheriff's Office said.
