TYLER, Texas — Keep Tyler Beautiful is gearing up to host their 20th annual Tyler Recycles Day!
The event is scheduled to happen on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 8 am to noon at the Downtown Recycling Center at 418 N. Bois D'Arc Ave. in Tyler.
This event is encouraging community members to bring items that need recycling while supporting and celebrating America Recycles Day.
Some of the acceptable items eligible for recycling include:
- Newspapers, magazines, phonebooks
- Junk mail, mixed office paper
- #1 and #2 plastic soda and water bottles
- Cellphones and chargers, computers, printers
- Motor oil, hydraulic fluid, anti-freeze
In attendance will be Ark-La-Tex Shredding Company and Interstate Batteries who will offer special services such as free personal document shredding.
