TEXARKANA, Texas — Another East Texas native is heading to Paris as part of the USA women's gymnastics Olympic team. And she's got a lot in common with her fellow Piney Woods product who also made it to the "City of Lights."
Joscelyn Roberson, 18, will be an alternate for Team USA, after a strong performance at the Olympic trials in Minneapolis highlighted by a stellar floor routine.
Roberson has a lot in common with Jarrion Lawson, another East Texan headed to Paris. They're both from Texarkana and Roberson, like Lawson, will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall. Lawson graduated from UA in 2016.
