LONGVIEW, Texas — A Longview ISD elementary school is releasing students early due to the air conditioning unit not functioning properly.
According to Johnston-McQueen Elementary School, the campus experienced a power outage around 8 a.m. Monday. Power was restored, but the A/C is not working as it should Families,
Students will be released at noon. Buses will be on campus to pick up students at 11:45 a.m.
"We will also observe our early release schedule tomorrow, Sept. 17," the school said.
