If you buy a sandwich at Jersey Mike's on Wednesday, you'll help a local charity.
Jersey Mike's locations around the country will donate 100 percent of sales Wednesday to local charities to celebrate the end of their annual month of giving.
Proceeds from all sales made on what the sandwich chain calls the Day of Giving, including subs, chips, drinks and catering orders, go to the charities.
More than 1,360 Jersey Mike’s locations partnered with 170 local hospitals, food banks, youth organizations and more. Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $5.5 million for charities nationwide.
Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations have raised more than $28 million for local charities and distributed more than 2 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes, the company said.
Both Tyler locations, and the location in Longview are participating, and have tagged Children's Village of Texas to receive the funds.
