JACKSONVILLE, Texas — The Jacksonville Police Department is warning individuals of a cash app scam where individuals are asked to send money to avoid getting arrested for a warrant.
Officials are claiming the scammers are utilizing actual names of Jacksonville police employees, according to the Facebook post.
Individuals are reminded that police will never ask for any type of financial payment over the phone.
