ROSHARON, Texas — The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) says an inmate who escaped from a prison south of Houston was captured Tuesday morning.
According to the TDCJ, Calvin Lee Patterson, 23, before being caught, he was last seen at approximately 4 a.m., at the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon. He was then taken into custody around 9 am.
"Patterson is a probationer out of Harris County serving a nine-month sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon," the TDCJ said.
