TYLER, Texas — Tyler police have identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash Wednesday morning.
According to the Tyler Police Department, the wreck occurred in the 500 block of WSW Loop 323, near the Brookside Dr. intersection. Police say the motorcycle, driven by Abimael Marino, 22, of Tyler, was traveling west on Loop 323 when a vehicle turning left onto Brookside Dr. from the loop turned in front of the motorcycle.
Marino was killed in the crash. The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The incident is still under investigation.
