Hurricane Harvey evacuee inspires East Texans with his music

Raymond Storey uses a cane to walk but his voice and talent to heal.

Raymond Storey isn't your typical musician - he uses a cane to walk but his voice and talent to heal.

After losing everything during Hurricane Harvey - he didn't lose his hope. He is now in East Texas giving hope to others.

"I started feeling at home being around familiar churches and people that had the same spirit that we have, and i just thought that this was the right area for us to be in," says Storey.

Being physically blind has not stopped him from seeing ways to help others.

He is hopeful and giving back is what keeps him going.

"Giving back to people that really need it... you never know who you're going to meet and whether or not you're entertaining angels, if you can help someone do it, because you never know who's going to need you and who you're going to need later on in life," says Storey.
