TYLER, Texas — The Senate race between incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Rep. Colin Allred is in the home stretch ahead of Election Day. Before the voters have their say, they'll hear from both candidates in "The Texas Debate."
The only debate between the two candidates will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the studio of our sister station, WFAA in Dallas. It’ll be broadcast live across Texas.
For those of you in East Texas, you can watch the debate live on CBS19 and CBS19+. (CBS19+ can be downloaded for free on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and smart TV devices.)
The debate, which begins at 7 p.m., will be moderated by WFAA's Senior Political Reporter Jason Whitely and Gromer Jeffers from the Dallas Morning News. You'll be able to watch the debate in both English and Spanish on CBS19+.
