Henderson County Jail suspends visitation after inmate COVID-19 outbreak

The suspension is currently in place for thirty days.

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — Henderson County Jail will suspend visitation for thirty days due to an inmate COVID-19 outbreak, the Henderson County Sheriff announced in a Facebook post. 

"We are working with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards during this time and will continue to do so," Henderson Count Sheriff, Botie Hillhouse, said in the poit. "We will make an announcement as soon as visitation is resumed."
