HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas bar was destroyed after an early Saturday morning fire.
The Red Bull Saloon, located at 10503 Highway 31 East in Murchison, caught fire Saturday, according to a post from the business' Facebook page. The saloon later shared photos of the building and said it has been declared a "total loss."
According to the Chandler Volunteer Fire Department, their firefighters were called to assist the Brownsboro Volunteer Fire Department around 5:20 a.m. for the fire at the saloon. Crews reported heavy smoke and fire conditions at the scene. The following fire departments District 8, Westside, Southside and Trinidad also helped in the response. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and UT Health EMS assisted as well.
