SABINE COUNTY, Texas — A Hemphill woman was killed Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Sabine County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to the crash on State Highway 184, west of Hemphill.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates at around 3:20 p.m., a 2009 Toyota pickup was traveling south on Farm-to-Market 1592 and entered SH 184 traveling east in the westbound lane and was struck by a westbound 2015 Jeep Wrangler.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as 68-year-old Nancy Little from Hemphill, was transported to the Sabine County Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Jeep, identified as 38-year-old Misty Graffeo from Hemphill, was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
